A partner with Clyde & Co since 1980, she specialises in multi-party international litigation and arbitration, mainly arising out of insurance and reinsurance contracts. She was for 8 years London head of the firm's Latin American office and has also been head of the Aviation Section. From 1992 to 2000, she served on the firm's Management Board as Finance Partner. She is accredited as a mediator by CEDR. She is a member of the International Panel of Distinguished Neutrals, and of the European Advisory Committee of the CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution (New York). She is a Director of CEDR.

She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and also acts as a neutral, sitting as Arbitrator or early neutral evaluator.

She frequently addresses conferences on the subject of ADR and writes regular articles on the subject. She has mediated disputes involving financial services, agency, joint venture and distribution agreements, fraud, insurance and reinsurance, energy, maritime, aviation, professional indemnity, and general commercial and contractual disputes. She has particular experience in managed mediation and co-mediation for use in complex multi-dispute/multi-party matters.
