| He is a leading Dispute Resolution Consultant at SJ Berwin and a full time mediator specialising in mediating commercial disputes. He has over 15 years experience as a busy mediator often in the most complex cases. He is a highly experienced mediator, widely recognised in the UK and has had extensive involvement with the development of mediation. He has mediated successfully a wide range of disputes including insurance, IT, intellectual property, professional negligence, construction and engineering, property (including inheritance and agriculture issues), joint venture and distribution agreements, personal injury, employment and environment claims as well as commercial and contract disputes. In particular he has mediated several leading class actions, multi-party claims and international disputes. He is the Honorary Chairman of ADR Net, a nationwide group of mediators, an accredited mediator with ADR Group and Chairman of their Training and Quality Standards Committee. He is a member of the Court of Appeal Mediation Panel and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has been instrumental in the creation of Court annexed schemes. He regularly addresses conferences and seminars on the development of ADR.
